"Chants de l'Isolé", our new album with orchestra is out !

This joint project between two composers of different generations, who have been working together for 25 years, was born of Benoît Menut’s desire to write a concertante work for the Trio Karénine, with the same duration, format and instrumentation as Philippe Hersant’s Chant de l’isolé. The result is Depuis le Rivage. These two works frame a musical journey that gives a voice to each group of performers, with, respectively, Menut’s second trio Les Allées Sombres for the Karénines and Fantaisies sur le nom de Sacher for the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, conducted by Vahan Mardirossian.
