Julien Dieudegard

After studying at the CNSM in Paris, where he was awarded 1st prize in violin (Régis Pasquier’s class) and chamber music (Jean Mouillère’s class) in 1997, Julien Dieudegard went on to perfect his skills in the USA with Eduard Schmieder, in Italy with Salvatore Accardo and at the CNSM in Lyon with Pavel Vernikov and Roland Daugareil.

Winner of the Budapest, Douai and Brescia international violin competitions (2001-2002), and the Trieste and Munich ARD chamber music competitions (2007) with the Trio Cérès, he has since performed in France and in over 25 countries.

Since 2006, he has favored long-term adventures, notably with the Quatuor Béla, deeply committed to 20th-century repertoire, new works and contemporary music.

His discography includes “Miniatures” in recital with Jonas Vitaud, “Trio Cérès : Fauré, Ravel, Hersant”, “Métamorphoses nocturnes – Ligeti” (4F Télérama-Grand Prix Charles Cros), “Plier/Déplier” (Grand Prix Charles Cros), “Jadayel” (Quatuor Béla + Sabîl-IMA), “Debussy, Magnard” (Diapason d’Or)…
